Pack your bags, load up your family, and hitch up your new or used RV for a gorgeous and unforgettable trip to Great Smoky Mountains National Park! This summer camping destination is absolutely stunning, and you’ll love everything there is to see and do with your family.
Cades Cove
The Cades Cove scenic tour stretches 11 miles and is the perfect opportunity for a leisurely drive dense with wildlife! Have your cameras out and ready – you may be able to spot black bears.
The best way to respect and preserve the wildlife is to keep a safe distance, so follow the park’s guidelines and never approach any wildlife you see. Approaching bears within 50 yards is illegal at Smoky Mountains National Park – and dangerous. Thankfully, following the rules can keep you from getting mauled – or put in jail – so check out more bear safety regulations on the website here.
Waterfalls & Mountain Streams
The crystal clear mountain streams of the Smoky Mountains are a sensory treat! The icy cold rushing creeks and streams are perfect for hiking alongside or wading in. You can take a look at different hiking trails within the park here.
Another absolutely incredible experience is taking hikes within the park to get to iconic waterfalls. Laurel Falls, Rainbow Falls, and Ramsey Cascades are just three of the most popular and unforgettable waterfalls you can hike to see. Don’t miss out! Check out the waterfalls of the park here.
